janelle and jack came down this past weekend... we ran some errands and hung out...it was nice.one of the things i needed to do was get g's mom her bday present. she asked for herb starts so janelle, jack, and i headed to Down to Earth to get some herbs for kay. janelle and i got all caught up in it and bought stuff for ourselves as well. i figured if i can't follow in kelly mccaleb's footsteps this year (we don't have enough sun on our porch)... i'll garden on a smaller scale...
we immediately went home and planted (as you can see it was a beautiful day)...
my organized and too symmetrical porch... couldn't find a way i liked them all arranged.. still working on it. we got cilantro, basil, parsley and a few flowers for some color.
kay's little gift. we brought it to her at the hospital a few days early... she loved it! see that card? get excited to see more of them!
