fondue

the last thing i ever want to do is cook dinner. i know its sad and other people love it, but unless its something special and all i have to do that day is cook then i just don't wanna do it. i'm tired after being busy all day!

saturday my problems were solved when we finally broke out the fonue maker Holly got us as a wedding gift. OMG this stuff is good and soo easy. i'm going to have to find a healthy version because it might be my new go-to meal.

we made swiss cheese fondue... don't you want to eat that??

G liked it A LOT! THANK YOU HOLLY!! it was so fun to relax and eat something new (and easy) together!

can you put chicken broth in that pot? Gregg's family loves cooking meat and veggies in a boiling chicken broth fondue pot. We do it on holidays. I am not sure why this is not a week night meal though!

MMmmmm...cheese fondue. I like having bread, apples and carrots to dip in. And then there's chocolate fondue.. that is pretty much like heaven. I bet you probably could put broth in there and cook meat and veggies. I'm a pure cheese kind of fondue girl, but I do know the incentive to look for a lower calorie choice.

I forgot to ask...did you make your own fondue or was it store bought. Those pictures have me craving fondue for days, but sadly I'm trying not to spend 16 dollars on one meal.
