dog park

wow. i don't think our blog has ever been this neglected...so so sad! we have been so ridiculously busy I can't even describe it. so many changes, so many things to do (many of which i abhor) makes for little to blog about and little time to blog at all! we did actually take some time last weekend for a little family outing...

Olive finally got her last vaccinations last week so we thought it would be fun to take her to the dog park. Its about a mile away and Olive doesn't do well in the car (lets just say the last time I took her to the vet she pooped, peed, and vomited just on the way there...) so we decided to walk there and back. Here is Olive and G waiting for me to run back and get a hat....sooo cold!

here we are on the trail...olive was not being very cooperative for pictures!

and at the dog park - no one else was there so olive was kind of confused, she was like 'i have a whole backyard why did you bring me here??' she got over it and we played...

and chewed...

and bounded...

and played some more...

and then i kissed my husband before we made the trek home. its rough being so busy and having a puppy - she is so demanding of the little time we do have that we have a hard time fitting in time together. it was nice to take an afternoon and be able to relax. olive was so exhausted after the walk home that she gave up at the top of our street - she just plopped down in our neighbor's yard and looked at us like 'i'm done either take me or leave me' i carried her home and she proceeded to sleep for the rest of the day! i think we will be taking another dog park trip this weekend...

i put a few more pictures of baby girl up on facebook if you are interested...she is so stinkin' cute you know you have to look!

LOL, my parents' dog does that on hikes - just plops down and looks at you like, screw it, I'm staying right here. :)
