Edrie's First Month: Family Day in the Gorge

 

Olive chillin' up front so I could try and calm Edrie while we drove. 

As I mentioned, Grant has been awesome as a support system and at getting us all out of the house on the weekends. This was the first weekend after he had gone back to work. I was having a rough go that week so he thought some time in the forest would do us all good. We packed up a lunch and headed out to a park in the Gorge for the day. It was rainy, but there was a covered section of the park and Olive could just run around off leash. It was SUCH a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Again, the moby is key at keeping the girl happy. We have even started to master nursing while in it...so awesome!

Olive was SO happy to be out there!

A short walk to an amazing waterfall. This is why we love oregon.. 20 minute drive and 5 minute walk and you see this...and its not even the best waterfall!

we have a BABY! that is insane!

we even got a few games of gin rummy in while baby girl napped!
