We returned to Missouri for a visit with friends last week. It was SO.MUCH.FUN! We got to spend lots of time just the three of us and also got to catch up with some of our favorite people!
Looking at the pictures from the trip you'd think that we were just home taking daily pictures of Edrie. I kept telling Grant to remind me to take pictures, but we both forgot almost everytime we were out. Most of our weekend was spent enjoying good food and friends. I wish I had better documentation!
Little miss was a dream on the plane. The car ride was a bit of a different story, but we all survived.
smiley and grunty!
Our first venture into disposable diapers... went well overall, but we did have one significant blowout. I was happy to get back into our cloth though!
This one cracks me up... is it my two month old or a 40 year-old balding man who has drank too much beer for the last twenty years?
We spent our first afternoon visiting Grant's old lab. Jaume is a natural! He will have a little girl of his own come February! I can't believe I didn't get a picture of him with Raneat and her bump!
Edrie was a hit
Changing diapers in the lab...
That night we met up with lot of friends at our favorite pizza spot.
This isn't that interesting...but she looks cute, right? And there is one good smile, too!
This kid loves herself a bath and the hotel room sink was the perfect size for her!
She is such a girl...loves anything shiny! She stares at diamond rings, too...
Sunday we hung out at Lainey and Dan's and she got some quality time with both of them! This was the blowout day so her outfit was extra random!
Naturals!
The weekend must have worn her out...she slept the entire way to the airport...just woke once to eat and went right back to sleep. This is seriously SERIOUSLY unheard of and something I dream about happening more often!
Papa and Edrie playin at the airport! The flights home were just as good. We had one that was a bit longer so it went to a higher altitude which I think she felt in her ears more, but she handled it really well. We never thought we would miss our Missouri life so much, so we were really thankful for a chance to go back and visit!
